5 things you should do while commenting on other blogs

Leaving a comment on other’s blog is an easy and instant way to build quality back links to your own site. Commenting on other blogs praising their effort to bring in quality content or simply adding your views to the question raised in the blog can bring you massive traffic and link juice too but beware not to go on rampant blog commenting talking about irrelevant topics and linking to spam blogs. You can get quality link from other blogs only if you add up some value to the bloggers’ effort. Most of the blogs today have an adequate blog moderation facility and if you simply add up spam comments in the blog then you are never going to get any back links and moreover will increase your chances to get your IP address banned from the blog. So, beware and comment sincerely to build the back links.

Today, you can find tons of blogs on almost every topic and coupled with power of search engine you can even find blogs that do give value to your link using the Do Follow tags but it is by no means ethical to exploit the value of the blog to get back links to your own site. You should be careful on what value you add to the blog and blogger’s effort.

Here we show you five basic ways on how you can comment on other blogs without being termed as spammer and in turn build backlinks for your site:

Offer genuine friendship:

When you find a blog you really like or any blog post that has helped you in anyway then leave a comment saying why you loved reading the blog post. Offer sincere help and reward the blogger with some praiseworthy words. Bloggers always look for some rewards for their work and if you can appraise their hard work then they are surely going to approve your comment.

Offer Help and answer question:

Many bloggers post their unsolved question through their blog. If you find any such blog and know the answer to the question then you should post it in the comment. Do remember that not to post any fake answers or solution which does not match the question. You will only make fool of yourself doing so, as many other people who read your blog will find you a naive on the topic and will avoid clicking on your link. Comment with an answer only when you know the topic.

Never comment a sales pitch:

Bloggers don’t want anyone else hijacking their blog to promote their own service or product. Never write comments which might sound like a sale pitch or promotional effort. Most blogger will edit your comment or will simply disapprove it. Moreover you will never get any click from the users reading the blog as they will find your comment of no use.

Be Courteous:

Do no post aggressive comments in the blog. Do remember that it is public platform and many users can easily read your opinion through the blog. Most blogger don’t approve the comment which simply use negative words blatantly to degrade the quality of the blog

No Spam:

Don’t post too many links with your comment. The URL filed available with the comment form does the work you want and links to your blog using your name. There is no point of adding links with your comment as that will only lead you to blog moderation and chances are that your comment may be marked as spam by the blogger.

These are few basic things you should do while commenting on other blog. Always remember that others too hate spam as much as you do, so don’t waste their time by simply posting spam comments.

5 Tips to Produce Great Articles

Writing great content requires expressive ability and guts from the writer who can deliver his message right to the reader’s mindset. Not all articles that compile chunks of words can be termed as great article. A writer’s ability to express his feeling in words and analysis capability of what works on readers feeling is required to be able to create a great article. Having said so, not all writers are able to write great content. Though there might be many who may try their maximum possible limit to bring in quality content to their readers but most fail to write in an expressive way.

With the increasing trend of article marketing to promote website, products and services in web, the art of writing articles has changed tremendously. Initially, articles were simply written for the reader but now writer has added responsibility to write articles that work well with search engines too. This additional burden has somewhat decreased the requirement of being expressive to readers and increasing phenomenon of adding specific keywords into the articles to make it friendlier with the search engine. But, still the articles which are written solely for reader in mind are those which can bring in success to the writer.

Though the art and method of writing has changed lately but still few basic points are required to write an amazing article. Below I will show you few points which are very important to create a great article:

Speak To Reader: This is the most important factor for any article writer. You should be able to speak to your reader. If your reader finds that you are not able to communicate with them then they won’t find any meaning of your effort and you will loose your readership.

Do no write sales pitch in Article: Readers want answer to their problem that is why they read your articles. If they find that you are promoting your service and product within the article or it looks like a marketing effort then too you will be losing your readers.

Be creative and exploit the emotions: Readers love to read articles which they can directly relate with their own life. You should be able to exploit their human feelings and communicate your viewpoint right into their mindset.

Show your expertise: You can only prove your worth as a great article writer if you write in subject that you expertise on. Readers love to read expert opinion and if they know what you are talking about then they are surely going to read more from you.

Call for action: A great article is that which can motivate a reader to do what it wants. You need to mention some call to action within your article that calls the user to act as said in the article.

These are few basic points you should follow in writing an article. Avoiding them can not only be disastrous but will also hinder your success as a writer.

Blogging: Returning to the basics

I have many friends who still ask me what is blogging and how do I earn from it. I used to tell them just go and Google it until one of them came back and said “No one really explains what it is they just flash of their earning and that’s all.” That was the time when I decided that this would be my first post on webmaster’s goal. Here are some of the questions I usually am asked by my friends:

What is blogging?

In the most basic terms blogging is like picking up a topic and then writing on it everyday. Though the frequency is not fixed but most of the bloggers including me update their blogs everyday.

On what can I blog?

On anything under the universe from your daily routine to your stupid boss to the first steps of your lovely child, there is a wide audience for every topic.

How can I start a blog?

Now this is where most people get stuck because as newbie’s they don’t know anything about domains or templates or wordpress or anything else. The general notion among them is that you would either have to design a blog yourself or if you can’t then you would have to spend thousands of rupees to get it designed. Let me tell you know only. This is all bullshit. The two ways in which you can start a blog are:

Free: If you don’t want to invest anything at the start and just want to experiment how blogging works then this option is the best for you. You will not have to invest a single penny. Just go the sites like wordpress, blogger, typepad etc and register there for free and get a blog for yourself. But you would not get an independent name like webmastersgoal.com you will get a name like webmastersgoal.wordpress.com. There will always be a suffix at the end.
Paid: The main expenses are of a domain and hosting and if you don’t want to spend your time updating your blog then you will need to hire a writer. How will I earn?

There are two ways of earning from your blog one is the direct method of earning and another one is the indirect method of earning.

Indirect method: Many successful blogger sell various consultancy services through their blogs. If you are expert in any particular service then why not sell it through your blog. People like to hear expert opinions and if you write about your expertise on the blog then your readers are surely going to pay you to get more personalized coaching or expert help from you. Most successful bloggers promote their services through their blog and you can too join the bandwagon if you post real answer to your reader’s problems.

How will I become a successful blogger?

Blogging is not a be-rich-quick method. You cannot earn millions overnight through your blog. Blogging requires handwork and dedication.
